I can’t decide whether this dinosaur wants to party or not. Still in debate
‘A Great Day in Harlem’ is one of my favourite photographs - a black and white group portrait of 57 notable jazz musicians. The image was taken 1958, by Art Kane who was a freelance photographer working for Esquire magazine.
If I wasn’t an illustrator, I’d like to believe I’d be a musician, though my hands are too small for any piano and I don’t think I’ve got rhythm. This illustration is my personal tribute to the greats who inspire me to draw, listen and learn.
